writer/photog/webdev/etc.
I am a writer, photographer and web developer based in Central Scotland.
I presently write for The Herald and Evening Times, Drowned In Sound and This Is Fake DIY, mostly. I have written for many other publications and websites, including NME, The Fly, Metro and Daily Record. I was music editor of Qmunicate at University of Glasgow, and E-Zine editor of Young Scot.
My interview portfolio includes My Chemical Romance, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Will Young, Fall Out Boy, McFly, The Killers and Razorlight. I have also written biogs for bands including Twin Atlantic and The Xcerts.
I have taken promotional and live shots for a number of bands and corporate clients (including SonyEricsson, Miller and Tennents), and had my photographs featured in Q magazine, The List, the BBC website, The Fly, Drowned In Sound and This Is Fake DIY.
I can develop websites, too. I have built significant PHP/MySQL applications for self-maintainable staff profiles, and abstract submission and review for conferences for a prestigious University. I also know a lot about social networking, with particular expertise in how bands can make the most of their web presence.
Oh, and I really really really love music.
